The first edition was published in March 1924. This early edition must be published after June 1925 because in a list of Edgar Wallace novels on the back of the title page there are three novels mentioned which were published later then the first edition: 'The Three Oak Mystery' publ. in Sept. 1924 'The Fellowship of the Frog' publ. in Jan. 1925 'Blue hand' publ. in June 1925 (According Charles Kiddle 'A guide to the First Editions of Edgar Wallace')
Book is in very good and is tagged with a 'FILE COPY'-label on the front board. The edges of the text block are a little bit dusty. The pages are clean and bright. The dustjacket is very good except some signs of shelf-wear and miniscule chipping and creasing on the edges. With a 'FILE COPY'-label on the front panel.
