About This Item

London: Michael Joseph, 1958. First edition, first printing. Published by Michael Joseph in London, 1958. This is a very near fine copy. The Broom Lynne dust wrapper is so slightly worn at the corners and spine tips. The wrapper is not faded and is without handling marks. It has been neatly price clipped. The publisher's red clothbound boards are rubbed at the bottom right-hand corner. The text blocks are bright and clean throughout. This is an exceptional copy and is, overall, in very near fine condition. The first title in the Larkin family saga.
