Fine-/VG. 14.5 Cm x 22 Cm. xii+251, 8 plates ex-pagination, one text fig., unfolding map after p.236, facs. letter ms. on endpapers. Only very slight flaw is a few very tiny brown spots to top edge; jacket, in protective sleeve as acquired, is clean and uncliped, almost unworn but slight spine end rubbing. The author/ ediitor was Darwin's grand-daughter. Bright spot on image is a reflection.
