Spine lightly toned. Jacket moderately toned on the spine panel and flap edges, with brief wear at the extremities and a cello tape reinforcement on the heel verso.

Basis for the 1937 William Wyler film which starred Bogart, Sylvia Sidney and the younger actors who became the stars of a series of shorts as the Dead End Kids, or the Bowery Boys.
