Doubleday, Page & Company, 1903. First Edition . Hardcover. Very Good/No Jacket. First edition, first issue, with the book measuring 7/8" across, very good with no dust jacket. The red cloth is unevenly colored and a little worn; the gilt lettering on the spine is slightly dulled. There is a bit of wear at the spine ends. Frontispiece and three other illustrations (Remington & others), top edge gilt. Internally tight, with deckled edges, and no names or other markings in the book.
