London: Faber and Faber, Ltd., 1945. First Edition. First printing Very good+ in bright green cloth covered boards with gilt text stamping on the spine. There are two shallow cuts to the cloth at the lower edges of both boards. In a very good unclipped dust jacket with very shallow 1/8" chipping at the ends of the spine area. Signed, dated in the year of publication and warmly inscribed by the author to Vartkes Aharonian on the first free end paper at San Francisco in December 21, 1945. 108 pages of text containing a collection of twenty short stories.
