First edition. This is a near fine copy. Issued without a dust wrapper, these blue cloth boards are with slight bumping at the corners and crumpling at the top and tail of the spine. The front panel is finely bordered with a gold gilt, as is the title on the spine. The rough-cut text blocks are slightly toned due to poor paper stock, and the author's signature is present on the front flyleaf, initialled to a Henry Winslow in Christmas 1911. This could potentially be a presentation copy to the fine 19th century American artist of the same name. Overall, this is a near fine copy of a nicely initialled title.
