First US edition 1st printing, Very Good book with light edge wear and touch of soiling page edges, slight spine slant, mildly pushed at spine ends; in a Very Good jacket that is lightly sunned on spine and bottoms of flaps, rubbing and some light scratches on panels, edge and corner wear with some loss of color edges edges, corners, and folds. Barnard's first mystery signed by the author on the front end page.
