London: Ward, Lock & Co, 1916. An American investigator goes in pursuit of a gang forging money on a large scale. CONDITION Blue bds with Gilt titles, blind stamped to rear "For Sale Abroad" indicating Colonial Editionwhich were usually printed in advance to ship in time for release. Rubbed to spine and tips, top cnrs bumped and bottom ones curved) Pp 303 plus 16 page publishers cat bound in at rear. End pages have fairly heavy foxing, name stamped to front paste down, half title removed. Mostly bright copy internally with tight stitching.. First Edition. Hard Cover. Good/No Jacket. 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall.
