With scarce dust jacket browned [as usual when found] very minor edge wear overall very good to excellent and presents well in new protective mylar. First edition in English of Remys 1595 Daemonoloatreiae Libri Tres. A scarce copy with original dust jacket. In the rare occasion a jacket is found it is most often in poor condition and all copies we have researched are browned. Remy (1530-1612) French demonologist,studied law at the University of Toulouse, where Jean Bodin taught. He worked as a lawyer in Paris and in 1570 took over his uncle's position as Lieutenant General of Vosages. Unclipped* wrapper has two short closed tears, gently faded spine and just a bit of wear at spine head. *a Nash inventory re-order form is still attached to rear jacket flap-something which is clearly unintended for the purchaser. So, this copy is unclipped x two!! An extremely fresh, attractive book and what great campy art on the wrapper!

Aquarian Press, 1970, in soft wraps. Terrific lurid. A veritable time capsule which can serve as a bona fide research tool for those with an interest of the heady days of late 1960s London. No website to hide behind; here were REAL names of both adepts & quacks and where to find them! An interesting artifact- though don't expect to trace many of these street addresses now. 8.25 x 11.25 (Oversize format) Fine/Fine; book is fresh and the pages are white, white! Straight, tight, square- not a hint of foxing, not even on the top edge. Binding is beautiful. Clipped(err..!) still glossy wrapper is the same- perhaps just a hint of rubbing/dust-dulling but so minor- hey, let's not ruin the fun, eh? This is The One.

First Edition Thus; this volume re-issues two of Steiner's works: The Way of Initiation and Initiation and Its Results. Some shelfwear and soiling to edges, but the binding is generally clean & straight; internals are also in good order.

WINNER OF THE PEGASUS PRIZE FOR LITERATURE AND THE BOOKER PRIZE. Used. Very Good/Very Good unclipped original $17.95 dust jacket. Summary: "The Bone People, first published in 1984 by Spiral, New Zealand. About this book: The Bone People is an unusual story of love. It is unusual in the telling, the subject matter, and the form of love that the story depicts. This is in no way a romance; it is filled with violence, fear, and twisted emotions. At the story's core, however, are three people who struggle very hard to figure out what love is and how to find it. Hulme won New Zealand's Pegasus Prize for Literature (1984) for The Bone People. Then the book went on to win the prestigious Booker Prize (1985).

Binding is square, tight and clean save for a stray mark on reverse. Red top stain. Internals clean except for faint marginal spotting/staining on pp.136-37. Old Weiser booklabel on front pastedown. Unclipped wrapper has minor wrinkling/ small creases (it is a very thin gold foil paper jacket) plus some edgewear; else Fine. Fifty-seven illustrations on b/w plates interspersed throughout text; again, as mentioned elsewhere on this space; images perhaps those not commonly seen re-printed ad nauseum.
