Aside from general descriptions including trade, commerce, people, agriculture, flora, zoology, government, customs, architecture, religion, navigation, the author describes individual islands, Saint Mary, Santa Maria, St. Michael, Terceira, St. George, Graciosa, Fayal, Pico, Corvo, Flores, etc. Attractive plates of these mid-Atlantic islands.
