Inscribed by the author to the front endpaper in the year of publication "Arthur Rogers from Dorothy Wellesley Oct 23.1940 (Duchess of Wellington)", with additional initialled entry in the author's hand beside the poem "Cock-Crow"; "x D.W the best perhaps..?", and occasional pencil crosses beside other selected poems. Very Good, clean, tight condition. In original dustwrapper which is not price-clipped (Published price 6/-). The wrapper has a strip missing along the lower front edge, and a closed tear to the upper rear panel, but is otherwise in Good order.
