Black cloth, backed in red leather, top edge stained red, housed in black and red marbled slipcase; black and red marbled endpapers; xii,239,[3]pp; color title page vignette, black and white wood engravings throughout, with occasional printing in red. Signed by Kredel, the illustrator, at colophon. Straight, clean, and bright, though top-stain slightly faded near bound edge; Near Fine, in a lightly rubbed, Very Good or better slipcase. Lacking the Monthly Letter.
