London: George Bell & Sons, 1904. Book. Good. Hardcover. 12mo - over 6¾ - 7¾" tall. 1904/5 complete set of 8 volumes approx 400pp each, publ George Bell & Sons. Preface claims that this is the first edition of Pepys' diary to be published in its entirety. Blue cloth covered h/bs all in Good condition overall. There is slight rubbing to each at the spine ends and corners. Page tops are gilted and side and bottom edges are rough cut, age-browned and foxed. Foxing in various amounts to pages. All bindings are firm and there are no markings inside save for a name-printed bookplate in each. Spines are gilt-titled but age-darkened. Set weighs approx 4kgs and will require parcel or courier delivery so UK only. .
