Paris,: Prault,, 1757.. xxiv, 443, [xv, table des remédes] pp. Small 8vo (10 x 16.7 cm.). Contemporary marbled calf, spine with raised bands and in compartments gilt floral decorations; gilt lettered orange morocco title shield, outer edges of sides with gilt ruller; edges red washed; mabled end-papers. Barbier I, 980. A very nice copy in an attractive and flawless 18th century binding, but for a very small piece gone from the upper left corner of the title shield. The first edition was published at Brussels (chez Jean Leonard) in 1742, a later edition was published in 1763 (Paris, d'Houry).-- (A few pages have a light clean waterstain or light browning).
