Berlin: Safari Verlag, 1930. Paperback. Very Good. A calendar for the year 1931, edited by German radical suffragist Frieda Radel, Small quarto, pictorial color wraps with stiff card back, ca. 100 sheets, bound vertically as a calendar, with perforation along top margin; each sheet has a picture or photograph, mainly of women or girls, with accompanying quotations from notable female figures, mainly German. 9.5 inches tall x 7 inches wide, very good with some tanning to contents, lightest wear to covers. RARE with no copies in OCLC nor in KVK. Frieda Radel (1869-1958) was a politician and suffragist in Hamburg, a radical advocate for women's rights. 'Sie gehörte zu dem radikalen Flügel der bürgerlichen Frauenbewegung und war Mitglied im Verein Frauenwohl, im Hamburg-Altonaer Zweig des Deutschen Vereines für Frauenstimmrecht sowie im Deutschen Bund für Mutterschutz und Sexualreform. Sie schrieb viele Artikel über Frauenfragen und die Frauenbewegung.' - wikipedia.
