Strasbourg: Karl J Trubner, 1908. No dustwrapper. Ex library copy which has been re-bound in dark blue boards with gilt titles on spine and with new endpapers. Two small labels at bottom of spine, card pocket and ink stamp inside front board, another label and ink stamps on f/ep and another stamp on what would have been the original title page. Otherwise a good clean tight copy of this German language book (full title is "Die Melodien der Troubadours, Nach dem gesamten handschriftlichen Material zum erstenmal bearbeitet und herausgegeben, nebst einer Untersuchung uber die Entwickelung der Notenschrift (bis um 1250) und das rhythmisch-metrische Prinzip der mittelalterlich") dealing with the music and songs of the Mediaeval Troubadours. 202pp.. First Edition. Hard Cover. Good/No Jacket. 4to - over 9¾" - 12" tall. Ex-Library.
