The tales " ... are as pungent to-day as when they were first told. In them. Bumping has also occurred to this edge. The top of the panel edge shows slight moisture marks. Browning of the textblock edges and of the internal text. The front hinge has cracked and underlying webbing is visible. Some of the internal pages give the impression of having had moisture applied to them. " Of the top backstrip edge is missing. The front fold over crease has split for 5.5 ", from the bottom edge upwards. There is a 4 " arcing tear from the lower left-hand corner of the front panel into the dustwrapper. The dustwrapper has come into contact with moisture at some stage, and the effects can be seen to the rear dustwrapper panel and to the fold over panels  browning and bleeding of the underlying book colour. The dustwrapper itself also shows browning, rubbing and some creasing and the rear fold over crease shows the effect of insect activity. The dustwrapper is now in protective sleeving.
