San Francisco: Matson Navigation Lines, 1972. Bifolium [30.5 cm x 45.5 cm] printed in color. Nice condition. Near fine. Dinner menu from the S.S. Mariposa, while it was enroute from Penang, Malaysia to Madras, India, on April 19, 1972 that features nice cover art. The S.S. Mariposa was one of the four luxury liners in Matson's 'White Fleet', which were designed by William Francis Gibbs and also included SS Malolo, SS Matsonia and SS Lurline. Mariposa was identical to Matsonia and very similar to Lurline.
