About This Item
Pebble Beach, California: Pondicherry Press, 2001. Book. NF. Hardback. 1st Edition. 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall. Hardback bound in black cloth-covered boards with gilt symbol of the Diogenes Club Carmel By The Sea on the front and gilt title on the spine. No defects to note on the book or the dust jacket. Because of its self imposed isolationism on the Monterey Peninsula, the Diogenes club was unaware of other Sherlockian groups and there their research on Sherlock was original. The club puts forth its ideas on Sherlock Holmes. 273.

About K. L. Givens Books
Our home-based business is located in the beautiful Ozarks of northwest Arkansas. We began selling books in 1992 and still enjoy searching for treasures to list on the internet. We are not mega-sellers; instead we select our inventory for condition and rarity. Among our favorites are 19th century classics in decorative bindings; regional histories and genealogies; and military history.
