(1st) Slightly smaller book, brown cloth, illustration of crane on middle front, most of spine has black background with bright gilt lettering and design, green inside covers and adjacent end papers, 338 lightly browned stiff pages. DJ has very slightly browned background, Nason illustration of man looking over edge of cliff, spine darker brown with illustration of tree and eagle, illustration of back right of trees, list of contributors and essays on front and back. DJ has microtear and very tiny tear at top front edge, very tiny tear at spine top right edge. Near Very Good DJ/Very Fine book.
