It is in fine condition and is signed by Nobel Laureate John M Coetzee directly on the title page. The original ticket from the signing event is included. The book has no remainder marks, a tight and square binding, with no owner inscriptions or highlighting and no staining or marking. The dust jacket is price-clipped, else fine, with no creases, chips or tears and absolutely minimal shelf wear. It is now protected by an archival cover which is easily removable, if so desired. Synopsis

Disgrace is a 1999 novel by South African-born author J. M. Coetzee, winner of the 2003 Nobel Prize in Literature; the book itself won the Booker Prize in 1999, the year in which it was published. A 2006 poll of "literary luminaries" by The Observer newspaper named it as the "greatest novel of the last 25 years" written in English outside the United States.
