Nominated for 1968 Nebula for Best Novel. Number 55 of The 100 Best Novels, Pringle Science Fiction. Expanded from the short story <i>The Little Black Box</i>, Worlds of Tomorrow 1964. This book was the basis for the classic movie Blade Runner starring Rutger Hauer and Harrison Ford, which strayed greatly from the original story. Jacket art by Lawrence Edwards.</b> This is a solid very good copy in dust jacket. The book is tight with mild shelfwear and bumping at the spine ends. The top page edge shows a small faint spot, which doe NOT enter the book (a dust stain?). Internally, clean and free of markings, with no toning to the pages. The dust jacket is price-clipped and rubbed along the edges with some light push-creasing, and also a crease along the entire edge of the front flap where it folds. There is also a short closed tear to the rear panel at the lower right corner near the spine. NOTE: These flaws are VERY minor. The dust jacket is sharp and attractive, covered with a brodart. Protected in an acid-free bag.
