Illustrated with 9 b/w annotated images and a fold out map at rear illustrating "The Territorial Growth Of The United States", including Texas annexation of 1845, the Russian cession of Alaska of 1867, The Philippine Islands, the Spanish territories, the Mexican cession of Arizona, New Mexico and California and the French cession of Louisiana by purchase in 1803. The binding is in fair condition but the book and the map are in very good condition.
