About This Item
Akron, Ohio.: The Saalfield Publishing Company (1927) One of "Every Child's Library" Series # 3014. There are three stories in this single volume. "A Dog of Flanders"....the touching story of little Nello, his old grandfather, and their 'dog of Flanders', is one that has lived for years. "The Nurnberg Stove" is a story of faith. Then, of course is Ruskin's " The King of The Golden River"....a lesson to be learned here..... Profusely and delightfully illustrated by the illustrations of Frances Brundage. Dust jacket art remains bright. Red boards with black title print to front board and spine. No ownershipmarkings. Leaves show time-darkening....boards show dark spotting and bottom edgewear....front hinge broken. It's nice to see a jacket on this book.. Good/Very Good.
