Flat signed by author to front free end paper with "Best Wishes". Pages have mild tanning and foxing throughout, moderate at end-papers, paste-downs and text-block edges. Brown tape marks to end papers. Plates are bright and clear. Binding remains firm. Boards have moderate edge-wear with bumping to corners and rubbing to surfaces. Covers have been bent creasing the cloth. Mild crushing to spine ends. Book has a slight forward lean. Gilt lettering is bright and clear. Clipped jacket has light edge-wear with tears and creasing.
