New York: Wings Books, 1991 A collection of three 'Golden Age" novels featuring Lord Peter Wimsey, part-time socialite and master sleuth ("Strong Poison," 1930; "Have His Carcase", 1927; and Unnatural Death," 1932.). This copy is a first edition as such with a numberline ending in "1. Black paper-covered boards with blue cloth backstrip with silver lettering on spine. Dustjacket shows unconscious, perhaps dead, young blonde woman in blue topless dress under author's name in white lettering. Text is clean and unmarked, edges lightly age-darkened. Dustjacket shows only very minor edgewear, one minor tear at lower rear corner, one equally minor chip at top of spine. Overall: Very Good, Very Good. An economic introduction to one of England's "golden age" legends.
