No inscription, one small annotation on page nine, sound tight binding, no loose pages, light dust accumulation on edges of text block. Wraps intact, moderate shelf wear and water stains on both front and back covers, fore-edge corners lightly rubbed, small closed tears on both head and tail of spine. Catalogue of the material in the Dorset Thomas Hardy Collection.
