This is a Fine Copy of this book superbly bound in lavish Half Tan Calf over light green and brown marbled boards.Top edge of the book is in gilt and other page edges are untrimmed.produced on hand made paper.There are five raised bands to spine with gilt title lettering in the 2nd,3rd and 4th compartment to spine,other compartments with decorative gilt designs.The book has a firm binding with no hinge weakness and the contents are lovely bright and clean without any foxing.Illustrated with three colour plates and further b&w drawings by Dorothy P Lathrop.Handsomely Bound and this book would certainly grace any bookshelf.Published in London by Constable 1922 First Limited Edition Number 106 of 325 numbered and Signed copies by Walter De La Mare.This is the nicest copy we have had in stock of this uncommon and beautifully illustrated Fairy Tale book which would make for a wonderful gift,4to 190pp 1922 .
