Black-and-white photographic paperback binding with black and white coloured titles to the front panel and black coloured titles to the back strip. The author was a friend of Richard Brautigan for 18 years. When Richard Brautigan committed suicide the author decided to write this book in hopes of presenting a more positive view of his friend. For, as Raymond Carver is quoted on the rear panel blurb, the book is "... Truly the best thing of ever seen written on the man.
