Full colour graphic novel of Anne McCaffrey's 1968 classic novel, adapted by Brynne Stephens and illustrated by Lela Ann Dowling, Cynthia Martin and Fred von Tobel. LIMITED EDITION: ''of the first edition of the graphic novel Dragonflight, Five Hundred copies have been signed by the author, casebound and placed in a matching presentation box, of which this is number...''. Note however that this copy is not numbered but marked ''AP'', and lacks the box. Additionally, laid in is a white printed label from the Florida Bindery (who printed the book) marked ''AP''. This ''AP'' on both this label and on the limitation page stands for ''Author's Proof'' and this copy was sent out to the author before final printing/publication for her approval. Fine copy in a fine dustjacket (as new).
