London, Ministry of Defence, March 1966 1st edition, with Feb 1969 Amendment. Army Code No. 70181.. Hardback, 11.5 x 9 inches. Patent 'Loxon' Loose-Leaf Binder. Cream cloth binding with red lettering to front. In very good condition. Some darkening and handling marks to cover; inscription "Major G. W. Booth, R.A." to top, stamp and lettering to front "Precis Room No A.34, D&M School." Minor stain to bottom of spine. Some foxing to added sheet at front "Bearings." Tape reinforcement over punched holes on first and last pages. Main pages are also stapled. Pages all very clean and tight. Else a very good clean and tight copy. 262pp + 28 & 26pp (Bearings & Gears.) Illustrated with many B&W and coloured diagrams and figures, including some full page and folding plates.
