The first offprint edition, reprinted from The Mariner's Mirror (Vol. 34, No. 4, October, 1948), of J. P. W. Ehrman's commentary on two lists compiled by Samuel Pepys upon his retirement from the position of Secretary of the Admiralty in mid-1689 detailing the official papers to be transferred to his successor.
