New York: The Macmillan Company, 1936. First edition, October 1936. Historical fiction set in Quebec, illustrated with black and white line drawings. Light orange cloth with dustjacket. Very good condition with minimal wear, good hinges, firm text block, clean pages, name written very neatly at the top of both front endpapers along with a rubber stamp of the same name, no other markings. The mylar protected dustjacket is not priceclipped [1.75] and is also very good with a slightly sunned spine, very minor shelf soil, light edge rubbing, tiny closed tear to the top edge of the front panel, no paper loss.. First Edition. Hard Cover. Very Good/Very Good. 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall.
