Illustrated with line drawings, maps and 36 colour plates showing winter and autumn plumages, one fold-out family chart, 476 pages. Introduction by Aldo Leopold. For the Naturalist and Sportsman. Signature of Lyle______?, Grants Pass, Oregon on front endpaper, previous owner or may have some association with book, note found laid-in "Thank you Lyle/Frank. Off-setting at the margins of pastedowns and endpapers due to reaction with bindery glue, just a hint of wear to the covers, very collectible copy.
