Paris: Librairie Floury, 1929. First Edition. Softcover. Near Fine. 4to 11" - 13" tall. Andre Dunoyer de Segonzac. A superlative copy in quarto softcover format, measuring 8" x 10 1/2" in size, and in gorgeously illustrated wraps, in gate-fold. This edition also contains an original etching at frontis frontispiece, dedicated to the author of the text, Paul Jamot. Covers show very light toning, some loss of paper at spine head and foot, some half-toning to half-title page and recto, else quite a lovely copy and suffused with a large number of black-and-white illustrations. The original pictorial wrappers augment the numerous illustrations and 10 facsimile plates, and the frontispiece depicts "femme se maquillant" (a woman making herself up). [6], 247 pp.Member, I.O.B.A., C.B.A., and adherent to the highest ethical standards. Additional postage may be required for oversize or especially heavy volumes, and for sets.
