Illustrated dust jacket over red cloth with a black and white illustrated frontis and illustrated plates throughout. Moderate tanning to pages with heavier tanning to pastedowns and endpapers. Pen inscriptions to front endpaper and light ink marks and dog-eared pages throughout. Moderate tanning to text block edges. Boards have visible sunning and noticeable bumping to corners. Fair crushing to spine ends and boards are bowed. Unclipped jacket with heavy edge wear and visible rubbing. Splitting to joints and visible tearing to corners, edges and spine ends. Notable foxing to interior.
