About This Item

A museum of dyers throughout the ages. The art of resist dying has been practiced on every continent. The book has over 90 full color photographs plus hundreds of additional photos of the people and processes. The book is in near fine condition. no shelf wear, corners are square, and the pages are clean and unmarked. The boards are a glossy fabric which appear to be silk, extremely attractive. The dust jacket is chipped and bruised all around, but there are no tears. The author has inscribed the book to Nadara Goodwin, who was a local Dallas artist. The author signed on the copyright page under the inscription.

About mark mcdonald

Book collector for over 30 years. I'm retired and ready to sell. I buy almost exclusively from estate sales and since I've lived in Dallas my whole life, I know the people and where to go. I am a low volume collector and seller and deal in higher quality books. I have a lot of signed and inscribed books. These signatures have not been officially authenticated, but I am confident in their authenticity so I will guarantee them in perpetuity if it can be reasonably demonstrated that the signature is incorrect. .
