New York: Pellegrini and Cudahy, 1948. First U.S. . Hard. Very Good/Very Good. 8vo - over 7¾"- 9¾" tall. No year, apparent first U.S. Light brown boards w/gilt spine lettering, bright green paper wraps Slight damage to front flap where it partially adhered to book. small chip at foot of spine, a bit of soil to jacket. Many of Sullivan's masterful illustrations are reproduced, both from novels and from various periodicals. Book VG save for a couple of minor spots from non-archival tape. Jacket has flaws previously described, VG, not price clipped ($2.50)
