Izdatelstvo Akademii Nauk Armyanskoi SSR, Yerevan, 1978. 1st and only edition. Hard covers, no dust jacket. V.g./No Jacket. Author's inscri;tion (in English) on title page. Twin title pages in Russian and Armenian, the latter sadly beyond the scope of my multi-lingual Mac. Book is in good condition, though like many titles of the Soviet era the paper quality of the text block leaves much to be desired; that of the plates is much better. Illustrated with 62 full-page photographs and a few line drawings in the text of the introduction. The inside end papers are an attractive design based on a Sorbus inflorescence, and are somewhat reminiscent of an Arts and Crafts wallpaper.
