San Francisco novelist Ruth Freeman Solomon wrote a trilogy on the Jewish experience in Russia and America. She is best known for four novels she wrote between 1967 and 1974: the trilogy "The Candlesticks and The Cross," "The Eagle and the Dove' and "Two Lives, Two Lands," and the semiautobiographical "The Ultimate Triumph." She continued writing occasional articles well into her 80s. In the 1980s, Solomon helped raise money for the renovation of Ellis Island and the Statue of Liberty. 8vo., embossed white cloth in dust jacket; 383 pages.
