Edinburgh: privately printed at the Ballantyne Press, 1898. First edition (hardback). 8vo (26cm by 19cm), viii, 312pp. 12 plates. Original two-tone cloth binding (red spine, blue boards), gilt titling to the spine, gilt design to the front board, top edge gilt. The lower corner of the front board is bumped, there are some marks to the binding, the endpapers are browned, the contents are VG. Overall, this copy is in good condition.
