Beautifully designed, this work displays examples of early new england grave marker rubbings printed on laid paper along with photographic images of the stone and a textual description of each. The book includes a glossary, bibliography and maps of the places visited. The entire production is housed in a custom cloth tray case. Book, print, and case (trivial shelwear) are all in very near fine condition. No foxing or soiling. Lovely and very interesting, large scale reproductions, with the signed rubbing.
