About This Item

Single sheet. Very Good. Uncommon New York flyer --circa early 1980s-- from Club SNAFU in Chelsea, boasting 3 examples of early Peter Hujar "drag" photography. Hujar captures in character performers Ethyl Eichelberger, John Heys and Agosto Machado in the club's 5-day performance of "Medea". A single sheet in hot-pink, with several minor folds and wonderful scribbling/snake drawings at the rear. The sheet measures 8 1/2" x 11" and represents important, ephemeral work in the canon of the major American photographer Peter Hujar (1934-1987).
