Manchester, England: Private Libraries Association and the Bookplate Society, (1976). First Edition. Very good in purple cloth covered boards with gilt text and borders on the spine with light gray end papers. A small quarto measuring 9 3/4 by 6 inches with a minor dampness stain at the top edge of the text block near the spine which has had no impact on the pages or binding. Without its original glassine jacket. One of only 2,200 copies of which only 700 were printed for sale. 185 pages of text including an index. Illustrated throughout with facsimile reproductions of original bookplates. From the title page: "A catalogue of dated personal labels printed in Britain to the year 1760".
