Philadelphia: Johnson and Warner, 1812. Boards. Fair. vi,[7]-203 pages. 24mo. Joseph K. F. Mansfield's copy with paper name label at head of Preface and handwritten note on rear endpaper. Leather spine over marbled boards (stained, worn). Frontispiece consists of a rotating paper with London and locations affixed to a paper with noon, morning, evening, night and the hours of the day on opposing sides (termed "Goldsmith's Grammar of Geography" at the base). Frontis appears to have been laid down on another piece of paper - it appears the volvelle may have been reattached as well as there is an additional piece of paper underneath the original circle. While the title page notes there are maps in this book, there are none present. Heavily browned in places, foxing throughout. An interesting school book. Boards.
