About This Item

Wheaton, IL: Tyndale House, 2003. Trade Paperback. Near Fine. First Edition. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. When young widow Hope Reardon's childhood love, Michael, returns from war, old feelings are rekindled. Hope and Michael must first overcome their past hurts so that their hearts are free to love again. Michael Flanagan comes back home with a mission after his family was drummed out of town ten years earlier for suspicion of arson. Ezra Underwood, Michael's fellow soldier in Andrew Jackson's 1815 militia, is dying and has entrusted Michael to deliver a packet of letters to Hope, Ezra's wife and Michael's true love, in Reardon Valley. Michael is unsure of Hope's reaction or whether he will be welcomed back in the valley. Likewise, Hope also has to contend with unwelcome advances from her brother-in-law, Joel, and her father's disapproval of her reuniting with Michael. When mysterious fires start breaking out again, Michael is the obvious suspect. He knows he must find the true culprit and prove his innocence to the townspeople and Hope if he is to have a future with her. AN ECHO OF HOPE marks the dramatic conclusion to the Reardon Valley series. 320 pages. Top & bottom of spine is slightly rubbed. Front cover right side edge is slightly curled..
