Los Angeles: Sherbourne Press, 1971. 1st Edition 1st Printing. Hardcover. Near Fine/Very Good. 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall. First edition first printing. Hardback book is tight clean and square. Boards clean, with only the top fore-edge corner of the boards slightly softened. Sharp spine ends, title gilt perfect. Text block clean, with white fore-edge, and bold clean printers stain to top and bottom edges. The pages are crisp and unblemished. Feels very tight and hardly read. Near fine condition. Jacket is nice, with very bold colours, spine toned. Edges have some wear including a couple of closed tears, light rubbing to spine ends and fore-edge corners. Presents well in the archival fitted cover. Jacket grades very good. For grading accuracy books are photographed without a protective book cover. This book is fitted with a non adhesive archival quality book protector to make a worthy addition to your collection. Note we do not use stock images, the book pictured is the book described. An attractive copy of this scarce Anvil title, very difficult to find in this condition. Comes from the estate of Roger Earnshaw, SF collector, well known at British conventions and fandom.
