London: Lion and Unicorn Press, 1963. 1st Edition . Hardcover. Very Good/No Jacket. 4to - over 9¾ - 12" tall. Bound with brown leather/silver titles over the spine, and imprinted and silver decorations to front and back boards, very clean and tidy, just sunned along the top edge otherwise clean bright and square. Hinge and text block firm, pictorial end papers with small previous owner label inside the front (Jack Prichard of Isokon). Very light brown marks to the first few pages, thereafter smooth, clean, unmarked. "No.9" hand-written on the publisher page, maybe limited edition? Abundantly illustrated with plates and with drawings on coloured paper pages. A beautiful book.
