London: Hutchinson, 1911. 1st Edition . Hardcover. Good/No Jacket. 4to - over 9¾ - 12" tall. Two volumes bound in dark red cloth with gilt linear embellisments to front and back boards. Both a little scuffed and a little frayed at spine heads, spines fading. Volume 1 Title page missing and first page detached. Thereafter text blocks in both volumes sound, pages smooth and clean, some light spotting to end papers. Abundantly illustrated with black and white photographs, reproductions of paintings and drawings. May incur additional postage charges, especially overseas.
